Cornus kousa (Kousa Dogwood)

Cornus kousa (Kousa Dogwood) is a awesome small tree. It has two main seasons of interest, summer and autumn. In the beginning of summer it produces lovely creamy-white flowers (in fact they are bracts). In autumn the dark green leaves change to purple-red tones producing an astonishment view. Older trees produce a pink fruit similar to strawberries. This is a spectacular tree for a small garden.

How to plant

Plant Kousa Dogwood in well drained soil. They prefer organic soil or rotted manure to produce the darkest leaves and plenty of flowers and fruits.
