Cornus sericea ‘Flaviramea’ (Yellow-Twig Dogwood) is a popular shrub that features bright, almost unnatural, golden yellow twigs. They produce gorgeous landscapes when planted together with red-twig dogwood Cornus alba. Cornus sericea grows fast and spread into large clumps.
The flowers are white in spring and produce little berries. They look better when planted against dark backgrounds (for instance in front of dark evergreen hedges).
