Yin & Yang: this is the house of 1001 plants

Be the reflection of balance: this is the goal of “Yin & Yang House”, which is being built in Germany.
A house where the harmony and tranquility of the gardens were not literally sacrificed.
Inspired by the Chinese symbol representing the balance between opposing forces, the Yin & Yang House, of Chris Precht and Dayong Sun – from the Penda architecture studio – uses two interlocking structures to create maximum roof space.
For what? So that the owners have room for a garden.
The co-founders of the Penda studio revealed that the projects were designed by a young family who wanted to maintain a self-sufficient lifestyle in the middle of the city by growing their own food, writes deezen.
Due to the space, truly compact, they came to the conclusion that the only possibility would be to grow the fruits, vegetables and herbs… on the roof!
We introduce you to the house of a thousand and one plants.
