Previously we covered the living aspects of orchids, basically, how to keep orchids alive.
Now, let’s cover their main feature: flowering. Orchids can bloom for several weeks and that’s what makes them such great plants to grow indoor.
Pinch the flowers off, cut them back in the base of the stem when they start to fade.
If you continue to water and feed the orchid will produce new buds. It may take several months but your orchid will bloom again.
Orchids are elegant plants to add style to any decor, being displayed as the single centerpiece or several grouped together.
Caring for orchids is easy and with the right temperature, light, moisture and fertilizer you’ll have your orchids blooming for many years.
