Description
Cornus sanguinea (Common Dogwood) is a medium sized shrub native from Europe to western Asia. It is a very decorative shrub when the leaves assume a bright yellow color in autumn. The twigs are not so brilliant as the ones from Cornus alba ‘sibirica’ but they also assume a very interesting orange color.
Cornus are easy plants to grow and they colorful twigs present a great feature in any garden during autumn and winter.
