Featuring hundreds of cherry trees, the park also has a lake where you can rent boats and enjoy the trees in bloom, from the perspective of those who are in the water.

8. Koishikawa Botanical Garden

It has many cherry trees of different varieties and constitutes itself as a true Japanese garden. Since you have to pay to get in, it turns out to be a very quiet place, not crowded.

About 800 trees, illuminated at night, border the river, which looks like a canal in the middle of the city. It is a good place to stroll since it does not offer great space for parties. In the area you can find several shops, cafes and restaurants.
