Plant each division
Now it’s time to plant each division.
I fill each pot with soil and plant each new plant in its individual pot.

Complete with more soil so that the roots are well accommodated and covered.

I propagated the Imperata cylindrica ‘Red Baron’ and created five pots with the necessary size to grow and develop in the coming growing season.

Finally, I water well and place the pots in a sheltered spot until they show signs of growth.
From there, they can be slowly fertilized and placed in sunnier locations.

Will post updated pictures when the season progresses… please remind me in the comments below if this is not updated.
4 months later…
And here I am posting some pictures so you can see how good they grew in the last 4 months.

I’m keeping them slightly shaded, that’s why they are so intense green.

At this point, this clumps could be planted in the soil, in a border in the garden.
