How to plant indian shot rhizomes (Canna indica)

2 weeks after planting Indian shot rhizomes I see the extent of the new leaf growing. It’s a good sign. There was a small leaf when I received the plant but in the next picture we see a new leaf unfolding.

Two more weeks passed and that leaf has already fully opened. Everything is going well. I’m curious to see its evolution as the season progresses. The plant will quickly fill the pot with foliage and will need to be repotted. Please ignore the mess of the shelter…

Later on, depending on the evolution of temperatures, I will put the cannas to grow outdoors. They will benefit from a position with a lot of sun but also with adequate watering to the requirements of these plants.
