Dogwood ‘Elegantissima’ (Cornus alba ‘Elegantissima’)
Cornus alba ‘Elegantissima’ (Variegated Red Twig Dogwood) is similar to other Cornus alba species with red twigs but featuring variegated leaves.
One of the gorgeous views of this plant is in autumn. The green part of the leaves turn yellow, orange and red, making a worderful contrast with the white part and with other companion plants.
It is a medium-sized shrub that can reach 3m high. Vigorous and very adaptable, it forms a thicket of upright, deep red stems that has great interest in winter.
