Judas tree (Cercis siliquastrum)

Cercis siliquastrum (Judas tree) is one of the top trees for early spring flowering. They display wonderful clusters of pink flowers that cover the branches and even the thickest trunk.
Judas tree is native to regions close to Black sea and Mediterranean coasts. It grows no more than 8m (25ft) but it may take several years to reach this height. The leaves are bluish green in the shape of a heart.
